Benefits of massage therapy
Structural Integration/Connective Tissue
This method
will help to relieve chronic tension, promote deep relaxation,
enhance self-awareness and improve posture. It involves applying
an energetic and sustained pressure to the fascial structures
as it helps corrects internal and external inbalances and enhance
agility in the body.
Acupressure/Shiatsu
A Japanese
system of physical therapy, using the therapists fingers, hands
or feet to stimulate pressure points and balance your energy.
It can help to stimulate the body's natural healing powers, while
releasing stress, tension and opening your energy flow.
Neuromuscular Therapy
Focuses on the relief and release of highly tense, irritated areas in the muscle, known as “trigger points.” This technique uses concentrated finger pressure to help break the cycles of spasm and pain.
On-site/Chair
You remain clothed and seated in a specially designed chair, which suppports you and allows the therapist to massage your back, neck, shoulders, arms and hands. This is done on-site at your location or event.
Deep Tissue
This massage
style is similar to Swedish but is performed with deeper pressure
to release built up tightness and knots in the muscles. It is
very good for the release of chronic tension and muscular spasms
due to stress or injury.
Swedish
A familiar
type of masssage that involves systematically stroking, kneading,
and pressing softly into the tissues, to help induce a state of
relaxation and improve circulation. It also assists in removing
toxins from the tissues.
